Homework:  November 16, 17, 18, 19, 20:
Study for the test on the body's organ systems.  Use your study guide and your printed handouts which are in your BFF.
Our test will be on Tuesday, November 21st.

Students have learned about the structure and function of cell organelles.  They have also learned about the organization of living things:  cells, tissues, organs, organ systems and organisms.

Now students are researching some of the body’s organ systems.  These include the excretory, respiratory, muscular, nervous, digestive and circulatory systems.  Students will find out what the major organs of these systems are.  They will also learn about the function of these body systems and how they interact with other systems within the body.

Students will be completing a project to show this new learning.

One website to help with this is:  Biology 4 Kids; animal systems.

Social Studies

Students have been learning about the Mayan civilization.  As the quarter goes on, they will explore the similarities and differences between the Maya, Aztec and Inca  people.
